FINAL Wild Wednesdays
August 25th, 2010 (this Wednesday) will be the final Wild Wednesday of 2010. This will be your last chance to stay late (will be OPEN TIL DUSK) and hear a LIVE BAND playing in our pavilion from 6 to 8 pm. Name that Gator!
Tanganyika recently recieved the extremely rare Albino Alligator. It is estimated that there are less than 40 in the world. Click here to join our Facebook fan page and help us find a name for this magnificent animal. If we select your name as one of the top 5, you will win a pair of Free tickets. She will be on disply in a temporary exhibit later this month.
Amur Leopard born!
The world's most endangered cat species has a baby at Tanganyika. The small baby Amur leopard is doing well and is currently staying in the baby nursery due to the heat.
