We want to send out a big thank you to everyone who came out to the Twilight Tour 2019 fundraiser event. It was great to see so many people support our park and animals. The food, drinks, live entertainment, art walk and auction, and exclusive behind-the-scenes animal experiences were all outstanding. We had a blast and are already looking forward to next year. Twilight Tour 2020 is set for June 13, 2020, so mark your calendars now because it keeps getting better and better every year!

Here are some fun Twilight Highlights to help tell the story of this unique event:

We started the evening with early VIP access and a delicious VIP dinner  from Hereford House sponsored by Hampel Oil. During dinner, we conducted a live auction with exclusive animal experiences for guests to bid on.

The VIP experience, sponsored by Wichita Family Vision, included early access to the park, free speciality drinks and swag bags.

Throughout the night, guests had the exclusive opportunity to go behind-the-scenes with 14 different animals to see in three different locations in the park. Zookeepers were located at each station to answer guests' questions about the animals.

The behind-the-scenes experiences that guests got to do include the following:

African/Asian Barn- giant anteater, okapi, binturongs, indian rhinos, pygmy hippos, debrazza monkeys, white-handed gibbons, schmidt's guenons

East Complex- colobus monkeys, Oz the black jaguar, amur leopards, lemurs and lions

Cheetah Complex- cheetahs

In addition to the behind-the-scenes experiences, twilight tour visitors also had the park to themselves to participate in our interactive animals encounters.

Guests were able to stroll the park at their own pace to view all of our animals while enoying food and drinks from 23 local vendors.

To make things even more interesting, guests got the option to purchase "keys to connect" which unlocked exclusive animal experience prizes. This year, there were ten chances to win a prize.

Featured here, is one of our guests who unlocked the lemur interaction!

A silent auction and art walk with exclusive animal experienes, outstanding donation packages and beautiful animal art took place throughout the event.

Rounding out the evening, we had some fantastic live entertainment from Hi Fi Productions and Paint the Towne. Both were a huge hit!
